I didn't go to either of these events but I was really shocked when when my friend, Jon Lister told me that the WIFI wasn't working at FOWA. If I'd known on the first day I could have fixed it. As someone who has sat in the roof of a bus garage installing APs dealing with large areas for WIFI holds no fear for me.
PS When I was typing this I accidentally put "bracamp vs fowa". I think if it had been bracamp I might have gone. Even if I had to present.
